I didn’t grow up in the wine world. In fact, my passion for premium wine came much later in my life and one of the things I found most difficult was trying to piece together the copious amounts of information – the producers, the labels, vintage conditions, tasting notes and palate training. I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by some of the most knowledgeable, generous and patient people in this industry. Mr Claremont embodies that same down-to-earth philosophy, and I want to create the ability to encourage more people to engage with this part of the wine world.
