Shipping Policy
What are your delivery fees?
We have a flat rate delivery fee according to the states as follows:
- VIC – $15 for Melbourne metro, $18 for non-metro areas
- NSW, QLD and SA – $20
- WA and NT – $40
- TAS – $25
There is no delivery fee for all orders over $400
Who do you actually use for your deliveries?
No surprises that we take care of our wine bottles very carefully! In fact, Dan’s lifelong run of zero broken bottles only came to an end one month ago so accidental breakages now tally a grand total of one bottle. With that same carefulness in mind, we only partner with couriers and delivery services that adopt the same level of carefulness.
For now, we deliver with either Anonymous Wine Freight where possible, or Australia Post and Home Delivery Services depending on which part of the country you are in. But check back over time, as we are working with some of the best (and nicest) wine specialist couriers who can ensure all our bottles are taken care of from vineyard to our cellar and then to yours.
Our delivery partners will always seek to deliver directly to your door.
How long will my delivery take?
Our current delivery lead times are:
- 4-7 business days in Victoria and New South Wales
- 5-8 business days in Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia
- 7-14 business days in Tasmania and Northern Territory
Do bear with us though, we are just getting started so our modest and humble team will work as quickly as we can to despatch your wine goodies.
What happens if I’m not at home?
Our couriers will attempt to re-deliver, and failing that, we will leave it at your nearest post office. All our deliveries will require signature on receipt. Definitely don’t want a bottle of your Montrachet in the wrong hands.
Will have a think, we get charged for redelivery from anonymous, and they don’t have a depot where customers can pickup from, AusPost will leave at their nearest outlet.
What happens if I have an issue with my delivery?
Whether it is late, it’s arrived with missing bits, or even broken bits, please feel free to contact us on wine@mrclaremont.com.au with your purchase order number and we will get on the case for you as soon as we can.
