Cullen Diana Madeleine

Cullen stands as the most emblematic ambassador for Australian Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1971, Kevin and Diana established their vineyards in Margaret River's sub-district of Wilyabrup, intending to produce world-class wines capable of competing with their European counterparts. In 1995, they planted the adjacent property 'Mangan Vineyard'. Diana and her daughter Vanya had the vision to grow fruits sustainably, which naturally pushed them to look at alternatives to chemical treatments. Cullen's property was certified organic in 2003, biodynamic in 2004 and the Mangan property followed the same path in 2008. Langton's elevated 'Diana Madeline' to the rank of 'ExceptionalToday, Vanya Cullen travelled around the globe to showcase Wyliabrup's terroir' through her work and advocate for more sustainable farming. Last year, the Estate celebrated their 50th anniversary. Diana Madeleine 2020 is a judicious blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec all harvested during two full moons and on a flower day help. The juice was fermented in different vessels and matured in 50% new oak barriques and puncheons for thirteen months.
