The 2017 Mercurey 1er Cru La Mission Blanc reveals a more reserved bouquet of pear, wheat toast, waxy citrus rind and fresh peach. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and bright, though a bit shut down by its recent bottling, concluding with a saline finish.
